About Glint
Understanding the gap between you and the role
Glint is a resume-to-job analysis tool: you provide a resume PDF and a job description, and our backend runs three complementary checks — semantic (AI via Google Gemini), keyword coverage, and rule-based criteria — so you see how well you match before you invest hours in an application.
Our Mission
Make resume-to-role alignment transparent
Every job application is a gamble. You spend hours perfecting your resume, crafting cover letters, hoping your experience aligns with what the hiring team wants. But you never really know.
Glint changes that by giving you instant, multi-angle feedback on how well your resume actually matches a specific role. Three analysis engines work together to give you the full picture.
No bias. No hidden scoring. Just clarity.
Semantic Analysis
Beyond keywords. Our AI understands the concepts behind your experience and the role requirements, finding conceptual overlap others miss.
Keyword Matching
Precise coverage analysis. We check which specific terms from the job description appear in your resume, highlighting both strengths and gaps.
Rule-Based Criteria
Hard requirements. Years of experience, specific certifications, and other must-haves are flagged explicitly.
How Glint Works
Three quick steps to clarity
Upload Your Resume
Drop a PDF (up to 5 MB, validated server-side). For guest runs the file is sent to our API for that analysis. With an account you can store PDFs to reuse without re-uploading each time.
Paste the Job Ad
Add the job description and title. The same text is used for all three engines on the backend.
Get Your Score
The API streams or returns results from AI, keyword, and rules engines. You see scores plus written feedback for each dimension.
Learn Over Time
With an account, dashboards keep analysis history, statistics, and saved resumes/job ads so you can compare roles over time.
Privacy First
Your data stays yours
Analyses run on our .NET API: your PDF is validated, text is extracted, and the three methods execute on the server. Resume text and job description text are sent to Google's Gemini API for the semantic portion only; other engines run in our codebase.
You can use Glint without an account for one-off runs. Creating an account stores resumes, job ads, and history in PostgreSQL so you can manage everything from the dashboard.
The API applies rate limits — stricter for guests, higher for signed-in users — to keep costs predictable and reduce abuse.
